The Rolling Ave ADU in Thousand Oaks is a beautiful example of our philosophy that good design should feel both welcoming and functional, no matter the size. This 660-square-foot, detached one-bedroom, one-bathroom space was designed with a focus on warmth, accessibility, and simplicity, resulting in a home that is as practical as it is charming.

The client’s vision was clear: a bright, homey space with thoughtful details that cater to comfort and ease of living. The design is warm and colorful, using light tones and vibrant accents to create an uplifting atmosphere, while maintaining a simplicity that feels spacious and relaxed.

Accessibility was also a key consideration, particularly in the bathroom, where we incorporated features to ensure ease of use. The layout allows for full accessibility around the island and provides ample room in the bedroom, complete with a generously sized closet that maximizes storage without compromising the flow of the space.
